Sooner or later, it happens to most of us. The menu inches further from our faces as we struggle to read in dimly lit restaurants or we stand in the supermarket aisle squinting at the detail on packaging labels. These are common signs of presbyopia.

What is presbyopia?
Presbyopia is a natural condition that tends to occur as we get a little older. With age, the lens inside the eye gets thicker and becomes less flexible which means it loses the ability to change shape and adjust focus as easily as it once did.
