A BEGINNERS GUIDE TO YOUR NEW CONTACT LENSES

HOW TO OPEN YOUR BLISTER PACKS

Firstly, hold the adjoining ends of the blister strip between your index finger and thumb. Then, keep bending until you hear a snap!

Next, wash your hands thoroughly with soap and water, then dry them with a clean, lint-free towel.

When you’re ready, carefully lift the tab using your thumb and index finger, then peel back the foil.

Finally, scoop the contact lens out with the tip of your index finger. Make sure it’s the right way round before putting it on. If the edges flare out, it’s inside out. If it looks like a smooth-edged cup, it’s ready to go.

What to do after you remove your contact lenses

If you wear reusable contact lenses, it’s important to take proper care when cleaning and safely storing them. Just keep practising the steps in our video and before long it’ll be a part of your routine.

Remember your contact lenses should always be carefully disposed of in a waste bin rather than in a toilet or a sink.
